Stream a new track from 2017 SHAPE artist Lišaj, taken from his upcoming album soon to be released on the Prague-based Genot Centre imprint. The Czech musician’s sound is based on droning mixtures of field recordings infected with slow beats, lo-fi sampling and liquid genre motion. His music oscillates between ambient and concrete music aesthetics and falls into a slow abstract stream of diverse sonic masses. Lišaj’s debut release, “Szara”, was built as a construction made from field recordings gathered on the Hel peninsula with an attempt to “dig a tunnel between noise and voice”.
