From May 14 till May 23, SHAPE+ artists bela and SABIWA will be in residency at the art gallery Visuma Centrs in Madona.
bela will create a new work with singer Eleonora Kampe and visual artist Līga Stibe.
SABIWA will create new material wth computer music project Posverdad Trax and cello player Sarma Gabrēna.
The results of the residency will be presented in concert form on May 18, and in the form of an exhibition that’ll be public from May 18 till June 28.
Concerts, based on the work done during this residency, will also later be held in Riga.
Events are co-produced by Skaņu Mežs festival and contemporary art organization MABOCA.
